We first opened our doors for business back in 1946.  Retailing was a new venture for John Alexander Shannon, who had previously been behind the introduction of electricity to Newcastle and Kilkeel.  Next in line was his son Frazer, who spent an amazing 60 years behind the counter and saw the premises, in Kilkeel Northern Ireland, expand to ten times their original size.  Day to day running is now in the hands of his sons, Robert and John. 

We supply virtually everything you will need to furnish your home and are stockists of some of the leading brands of furniture, including Ercol, Parker Knoll, Vi- Spring, Willis & Gambier, Alstons and Old Oakland. 

Our giftware department features popular ranges such as Denby Pottery, Emma Bridgewater, Willow Tree, Belleek Living and Straits. 

For your kitchen you will find a comprehensive range of cookware and small appliances with household names such as Stellar & Le Creuset prominently featured.

We also retail and manufacture window blinds to any shape or size.
